Service Job Board GuidelinesThe ASC Service Job Board is a place for service commissions, AmeriCorps programs, nonprofits, and others in the service and volunteerism field to post open employment opportunities for staff. It is not intended for AmeriCorps member positions. Before posting a position on the job board, we encourage you to review the below guidelines in full. If you have any questions about the job board or need assistance with posting a position, please email us. In alignment with our JEDI commitments, we have established the following guidelines to help facilitate equitable hiring practices and advocate for structural change to close racial and gendered pay gaps. We expect all job postings to meet these guidelines, and we reserve the right to remove any post that does not meet the guidelines or otherwise does not align with our organizational values.
In addition, when developing job descriptions, we encourage employers to avoid creating unnecessary barriers to employment by seriously considering whether certain levels of educational attainment, physical ability, years of experience, and other skill requirements are necessary for applicants to be considered.
