We host a variety of events and trainings throughout the year to support the national service field. The following flagship events are our largest offerings each year, but we facilitate many smaller trainings as well. Please email us with any questions.
National Service Training
Supporting more than 1,500 national service program and nonprofit staff in their professional development each year, National Service Training provides professionals with the tools needed to effectively manage AmeriCorps and other volunteer-driven programs making a difference throughout the country.
Innovation and Leadership Awards
We host an annual networking reception to celebrate national service and present the ASC Innovation and Leadership Awards, which recognize the outstanding accomplishments and leadership of state and territorial service commission staff, commissioners, AmeriCorps programs, and AmeriCorps program staff.
Leadership Convening
Leadership Convening brings together executive directors and commissioners from state and territorial service commissions across the country to discuss high-level trends and developments, revisit strategic goals, report on association progress, and foster cross-state collaboration and best practice sharing. Leadership Convening is typically held in February each year, and registration information is sent directly to commission executive directors.
Membership Assembly
Typically held during the week of the AmeriCorps State and National Symposium, the ASC Membership Assembly brings together all state and territorial service commissions to provide important announcements, select ASC board members, and report on association progress. Registration information is sent directly to commission executive directors.
