Welcome to Our New Website!

We're thrilled to launch our refreshed website today! Our team has been quietly working on this new website for the better part of six months, and we're so excited to finally share it with you. In addition to the new modern design, we've also updated the structure and navigation, as well as much of the content. However, we have not changed how you interact with the members-only portions of the website, so when you need to update your profile, renew your membership, or register for an event, you can rest assured the process will be the same.

We feel very strongly that this refreshed website better represents ASC and, by extension, our network — which includes all of you! One of our primary goals is to proudly shout from the rooftops that state and territorial service commissions, AmeriCorps programs, and volunteer engagement organizations are vital to this country. We're confident our updated website better positions us to do just that.

Change can be fun and exciting, but we know it can also be a little daunting sometimes. As you familiarize yourself with our new site, feel free to ask us for help if you can't find something. We're happy to direct you to the right place.

Service Job Board

One new element we want to specifically call out is our Service Job Board. We're excited to announce that the job board is now self-serve. Instead of emailing our team to request that a position be posted on a static webpage, you can directly post your position to our new, dynamic job board. Any organization with a current ASC membership can post positions for 30 days for no additional charge. If members wish to post a position for 60 or 90 days, a small fee will apply. Non-members are welcome to post positions for 30, 60, or 90 days for a small fee. If you need assistance posting a position, email us.

We think our new Service Job Board is an exciting improvement over our previous board. It has additional features and functionality; it allows the hiring organization to directly manage the posting; and it gives small organizations a web-based alternative to a PDF or a Word document for publicizing their open positions. Posts can direct job seekers to apply via email, via another link, or directly through the Service Job Board. In addition, individuals can sign up to receive an email any time a new job is posted to the board!

Please note that, as a one time courtesy, we have added any positions listed on our old job board and still open as of January 2, 2024 to the new job board. From now on, we will not be posting on behalf of any organization, member or non-member.

We strongly encourage anyone posting a position to follow our Service Job Board Guidelines, which have been in effect for the past two years.
