Commissioner Highlight: Clifford Yee, VA
It's time for a commissioner highlight! Today, we're recognizing Clifford Yee, who has been serving as a commissioner with Serve Virginia for five years.

Clifford said, "My commitment to service has deep roots, beginning with values I learned as an Eagle Scout and strengthened through my fraternity, Sigma Alpha Epsilon. Growing up, scouting taught me the importance of responsibility, leadership, and giving back, and through my fraternity, I saw firsthand how collective effort could drive meaningful change and serve a greater good. As the former chair of the Virginia Governor's Advisory Board on Service & Volunteerism, I’ve had the privilege of witnessing the transformative impact that dedicated individuals and organizations can have on our communities. My early experiences taught me that volunteerism is not just about giving back — it’s about building stronger, more resilient communities and inspiring others to do the same. Serving as a commissioner allows me to amplify these efforts and champion policies that empower people to make a difference. It’s an honor to support the spirit of service, working alongside other passionate leaders to expand opportunities for meaningful civic engagement and address the challenges that shape our future. I believe that by fostering a culture of volunteerism, we help to inspire the next generation of leaders, just as I was inspired in my youth."
Thank you for your service, Clifford!
